Work Experience
2022 - 2023
Mane Engineer
KAYA | Tbilisi, Georgia
As a manufacturing engineer at KAYA, I improved the efficiency of the manufacturing process by creating a system that tracked the progress of each staircase using barcodes and RFID tags. This system helped to improve the efficiency of the manufacturing process by up to 20% and reduced the number of defects. As a result of my work, I was promoted to senior manufacturing engineer.
2018 - 2022
Teacher and FabLab Manager
European School | Tbilisi, Georgia
At the European School I was both the teacher and the FabLab manager for three years. I oversaw the development and operation of the school's FabLab and taught classes on digital fabrication. I led the development of a new curriculum that was interdisciplinary. It is the first classroom in Georgia with 3D printers, laser cutters and more. I created lesson plans that focused on STEM education. The FabLab was a huge success. Students learned new skills, developed their creativity, and gained confidence. I am proud of the work I did.
2017 - 2018
Mane Engineer
Giffer
As the main engineer at Giffer, I was responsible for the stability and design of our machines. I knew that we needed to make some changes if we wanted to stay ahead of the competition.
I started by conducting a thorough analysis of our current machines. I found that they were not as stable as they could be, and their design was not as stylish as I would have liked.
I worked with my team to develop new designs for our machines. We made them more stable, and we also added some stylish features.
The new machines were a hit! They were more stable and stylish than the old ones, and they were also more affordable.
2015 - 2017
Teacher and Manager
Junior Innovations Lab | Tbilisi, Georgia
I have been passionate about STEM education since I was a child. I loved learning about how things worked and I was always eager to build and create. When I learned about LEGO Education, I knew that I had found the perfect way to combine my love of STEM with my passion for teaching. In 2015 I started my career as a LEGO Education teacher at Junior Innovations Lab. In this role, I was responsible for designing and delivering STEM-based lessons using LEGO Education materials.
2014 - 2015
InGlove | Dubai, UAE
CTO
We created the glove for virtual reality (VR), that helps you to feel what you are touching, even temperature. It uses a combination of haptic, force-feedback and thermal elements to create a more immersive VR experience.
